Don't forget, today at 10 am EST is when the Boom Effect Auction starts! You can follow it live Here!

You can also check out all the goodies at The Boom Effect. There's a basket full of Horseman goodies that I'm donating, and if the bid goes over $100, I'll add in a special extra - a copy of the LIMITED EDITION print run of Tee's Legacy of Morevi. Signed. Yeah, signed.

Bid! Help out a little girl who needs us!

I'm moving all of my health/exercise stuff over to my [ profile] val_marathon journal. Feel free to friend it - I want to do more writing stuff on this one.
So, Philippa Ballantine, one of my fellow Dragon Moon Press authors, is hosting an auction to help build a fund for Sonic Boom, my friend Tee's daughter, following the loss of her mother. The Chip-In account raised enough money to help Tee out short-term - now we're looking longterm.

The Boom Effect is an amazing auction, and let me just say two things:

1. I'm humbled and honored to be a part of it.

2. I'm going to be SOOOO poor on February 27th!!!!

There's some really neat stuff in this auction. You're talking agents, authors, podcasters, muscians, artists - it's an amazing community we belong to, and they've all come together to make this auction work. I highly encourage everyone on my list to check it out.

Oh yeah, and I've got an auction item up too. It's a Horseman-themed food and tea basket, and depending on how much interest it gets, I might even bake something special to go into it. You can ask around - I'm a really good baker. And seriously? It's a really good cause.

Go look. Drool. And then help out a really good cause, if you can. If you can't, spread the word about the auction, which will also help.

And thank you.
Expect a LOT of radio silence in January. Work is looking for all the OT they can squeeze out of us phone monkeys ask us for, and between that, Birka and trying to get Last Rites written (not to mention classes, which start in the middle of January), I'm going to be flat out. So I might vanish for a bit. I'll try and post on weekends.

Bleah. January is a LOUSY month to be a 401k phone rep. At least the money will be good.

To all those who served. And to those who continue to serve.

Happy Armistice Day.

They've changed the accesses at work, so I can't get into my message screen until I get home. If you've sent me a private message, that's why I may not have responded. *sigh*

I'm going to be offline most of the weekend - that includes phone and Twitter. DM me or call and leave a message if you need me - I'll check every once in a while. I just need a break.
I haven't gotten it. My phone's on walkabout, and it hasn't returned yet. Hopefully it will show up tonight.
Just so y'all know, I'm currently ignoring my email and intend to keep doing so until probably sometime next week. Between class, work and writing, I've got no time for it. If there's something that absolutely must be noticed by me, shoot me a message here or text my phone. Otherwise, it'll have to wait until next Thursday or so.
Just a brief heads-up - there will be some major changes coming to this blog. *dun-dun-DUN!* Good changes.

More later.

My flist is getting out of hand again (ie, I don't have 3 hours to read everything every day) so I will be pruning in the next few days. This is just a general warning - I need to be spending time on writing, not reading what all you fascinating people are doing every day.

And no, it's not in reaction to anything other than the fact that I've changed shifts at work and don't have as much time to read. It's either read or write and frankly, my reading doesn't pay my bills like my writing does.

Please, if you get cut, don't take it personally. It's not personal. It's because I don't have time to read everything.

I'm not going to be on Chat this week, unless I figure out how to jury-rig my laptop onto my parents' cable modem (long story - not going into it). It's okay - I can get more work done that way, honestly. :)

[ profile] beard5, did you want to get together this week? I know Thursday is out - let me know about Wednesday or Friday.

Back to your regularly scheduled day. :)

Especially for [ profile] liamstliam and [ profile] caitlindancer.

Argus will not be at Glenn Linn, since he found out that he has to work at 6 am Monday morning.

[ profile] caitlindancer = we'll work something out.

[ profile] liamstliam = I'll pick up the cookie dough next Saturday. :)
Either Argus or [ profile] kuzushi will have your mask for you next weekend at Glenn Linn. I couldn't hook up with people this week.

Donate blood this week.

My grandmother is currently in the ICU, and she needed blood. It was there for her. I'm heading out tomorrow to see if I can donate, but please, if you are able, give blood.
