(baseball) McGwire thoughts

There are a lot of thoughts out there about Mark McGwire right now.

I'm not sure what I think. There are a lot of comments for both sides - do we forgive him? Ban him? Beat him and Pete Rose with their trophies until they're both bloodied bits of meat on the ground?

I don't know. I'm glad he finally admitted it. I feel sad that the records are tainted, and I don't know how to fix it.

But I'm not sure crucifying McGwire is the answer. And I think I'm okay with him coaching. One thing's for sure - he's going to have a LOT of eyes watching his guys, so I think the fears of "he's not going to report users!" are unfounded.

But I dunno. Maybe I'm wrong.
