Baby birds!!!

Our big evergreen shrub next to our door has a robin's nest in it. And today, as I was going past getting the empty trash bins and bringing them back, I saw two little beaks opening wide!!! We have two baby robins!

I'm very excited. Hopefully the pictures I took will come out. I didn't dare get too close - didn't want to scare Momma away. But they were so cute! All fluffy and yellow.

Pictures tomorrow - all my lilacs are in bloom, so I got some good pictures of those as well.

They really are. I have two dark purple trees and one lavender tree. The pictures are gorgeous.
