Because one of the "good for me" things I'm going to do is take a Saturday and go nuts baking cookies, I thought I'd see what kinds of cookies you guys are craving.
Peanut Butter Blossoms... the peanut butter cookie with the Hershey's kiss in the center. mmmmmmmmmmmm... man, so NOT Weight Watchers friendly. I don't know what I'm goign to do!
Ginger bread, which I answered in the pole, but also molasses cookies. It is the one cookie recipe that I refuse to make "healthier" like I have with the others.
Shortbread Cookies from assorted cutouts wherein you get to add your favorite colored icing and sprinkles.
McGeeger's Favorite: a coco-powder, peanut butter, and coconut concoction that required lots of stiring but no baking.
Oatmeal-Raisin-Molasses -- not so much for Xmas but an anytime cookie that is still my favorite. Not as easy to make as one might think because the correct balance has to be achieved. Too much this or that spoils the dough. The zen of cookies insists on happy harmony leading to yummos.

But even so - I'm sure with practice you could get shapes out of them...
