(tea) Happiness is...

Happiness is placing an order for more tea.

I now have the Christmas Tea and the White Tea with Pear and Pineapple winging its way to me. Yay!

I wish I could do loose tea at work, but it's just too much of a hassle, unfortuantely.

[livejournal.com profile] shadawyn, this is really yummy tea as well - have you tried them?

I haven't tried them, but I'll look it up. thanks!

You're welcome! I got a small mug with them in it last year, and have been nursing my supply since then. The Christmas tea is really amazing - very spicy.

I just bought this:
Tea For Me @ Amazon

I will let you know if it seems like it's work-friendly.

Ooh, that looks cool!

The problem is that I'm tied to my desk for up to 4 hours at a time - can't go and refill it. :( So tea either oversteeps, or gets cold. :( And we can't keep a kettle/mr. coffeemaker at our desk.

For oversteeping, it avoids it by having a steeping inner vessel, which can be (is supposed to be, really) removed.

For getting cold, you could use a separate insulated container (travel mug, etc) and pour the steeped tea into it. The outer container has both a handle for drinking like an oversized travel mug, and a spout for pouring.

I've not tried it yet, and suspect that cleaning dried leaves out will be a pain if you can't rinse the inner container, but it otherwise seems like it is very well thought out.

I'll be looking for your review! :)

I haven't purchased from that tea company yet, but I just put in an order at adagio for some Christmas tea I didn't really need. :)

I loves Adagio too. :D But I need to use up my loose tea from them before I order more.

The Christmas tea from Harrisons is like magic. Liquid magic. It's so yummy.
