More ponderings on the Neo/Dana/3000

So, I'm looking out for these now (can you tell I'm bored? I just keep posting. But I'm doing training readings and my brain needs a break every so often.), but since I can't justify spending the $216 for a new Neo right now (sigh), I'll probably just bring that old standby to Pennsic (pen and paper) and keep on the lookout for a good used one.

And maybe Santa will bring me a new Neo. Or not. :p

Of course, I'll probably bring the laptop too. Just in case.

I'm so tied to my technology. I think I'd die without my computer fix.

Pathetic, isn't it?

Looking for a used Alphasmart Neo or Dana...

I'm haunting eBay, but I figured I'd put the call out here as well, in case someone knows someone who wants to upgrade. I'd rather not pay more than $50 plus shipping for one (that's about all I can afford at the moment).

If anyone knows anyone, please let me know in the comments, or email me at vg_ford @ yahoo dot com.

Thanks!

Question for the Dana/Alphasmart users out there

What's the difference between the Alphasmart keyboard and the actual Alphasmart? Can you use a USB drive in it? I'm thinking of getting one for Pennsic, and while I can justify $17.00 for a keyboard for a week, I can't justify $200.

Help!!!

Maybe it would help if I included the link I'm looking at:

ebay Alphasmart.
