No writing, but lots of worldbuilding
My father rocks. He really does.
Yesterday, I drove down to CT with my parents for my grandfather's 80th birthday. The entire 3-hr drive down and 3-hr drive back, Dad and I discussed the plot arc for Seasons and Rites. He gave me some VERY, VERY good ideas, and really liked some of my plot points. And he helped me with the military stuff, which I'm never very good at.
So I'm very happy. Today's plans include:
- Breakfast with hubby (okay, it's lunch, but it's El Toro pizza!!!)
- Finish cleaning the old apartment and drop off the keys
- Fold laundry
- Clean out the car
- WRITE!!!!
Oh, and I need to find a new health plan - apparently I'm too far away from MA now to stay on Tufts. *sigh* I'm really upset by this, but I have a choice between Matthew Thorton Blue and Harvard Pilgrim, so I need to see which ones will cover my doctors and my hospital the best. And I have a Remicade treatment this week, of course.
More later.
Edit: Well, the truly important stuff got done. As I have to be in Worcester as close to 8 am tomorrow morning *grumble* that I can manage to get the hubby's car fixed, I'm heading to bed early, so I can be up when my alarm goes off at oh-god thirty. We have a health plan (HPHC, if anyone's interested) and I have lots to do this week.
