I hate it when life gets in the way.

This is a whiny, PMSy post, so be warned.

I haven't been able to write lately. Not because I don't have the words, but because every darn time I sit in front of the computer, something happens and my life blows up.

It's highly irritating.

Take today - I had a minor (okay, major) meltdown over my swimsuit that I've had for umpteen years ripping. I need a new swimsuit. I knew this. However, the fact that it ripped, TODAY, was emotionally horrifying to me.

I hate it when I get this way.

So I stayed home, cooked massive quantities of food and did a load of laundry. And did I get anything written?

Actually, yeah, I did, but that's beside the point.

I just hate being a PMS bitch.

Where are you camping and where else will you be findable?

Off of North Gate, with the Barony of Stonemarche next to Shadowclan on the way to the parking lot. Also, Chirugeon's Point, fencing field, EK Royal (doing herald stuff) and trailing Their Excellancies (or heralding them, whichever they need).


When are you arriving?

Saturday, Aug 12th, early afternoon.


What fun things are you planning to do?
Fence, marshal, herald, hopefully get my apprentice chirugeon certification, tell stories, drink, hang with friends, write (yes, I'm bringing my laptop - I have deadlines!), drink, shop, did I mention drink?


And, if there's any chance I haven't connected LJ names and SCA names, what's your SCA name?
