Decided not to go to Walmart last night, and the bank didn't have any deposit envelopes. *sigh* Given the way my night was going, I promptly gave up, went home, took a LONG, HOT bath and went to bed.

Today started off HORRIBLY.

I did get to clean out my car, and still couldn't find the cell phone. Minor meltdown, relieved by promising myself that I would get ahold of SIL when I got back and would find out one way or the other if I had to get a new cell phone. Then went to the bank - and found that I had forgotten both debit card AND checkbook. Went into bank and deposited money.

Went to Joann's and got gorgeous burgundy fleece for [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills's Father Christmas coat for Saturday. No hunter green, bah. But the burgundy is beautiful, and I got white silky furry fleece to do the trimming with. Matching thread and we were good to go.

Checked at the D'Angelos I had stopped at on Saturday, on the off-chance that I'd dropped the phone there. Nope.

Back at home, got a hold of the SIL - yup, the phone is on an extended vacation in Maine. *sigh* If you've called me since Saturday, well, I won't get the message until maybe Tuesday. Just so you know.

Got the jacket cut out (except the sleeves, which is tomorrow's project) and the gores pinned. Was home for a bit during lunch, and [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills tried it on - fit wonderfully! Yay! There will be a marathon sewing session tomorrow. :)

Tonight is writing. I got almost 3k done yesterday at the hospital during my transfusion, so I want to get some more done tonight.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] jaylake has a great article on discipline in writing. Check it out.

Bad Things: The Storms are interfering with Rick and Justin's search.

“Shoved up his ass,” Cleo muttered. “With a whole damn church in there as well.”

Deaths: none.

Good Things: the party isn't split anymore. go me!*

Bad Things: Madness is plotting something. Bad news about Thomas.

Okay, so apparently all I had to do was change my font and I can suddenly write again. Go figure.

I found a couple of scenes I need to insert at some point. I need more Madness scenes in there. And this part is pretty choppy, but I'll work on it in the rewrite.

*Gaming reference. The party always seems to split off on their own adventures - it's a good time when we can get everyone together! Of course, we'll see how long it lasts.
