Wanted 5k. Got a little over 3k. I'll take it. Especially since it puts the book up over 30k.

I got my Adagio Teas order the other day. Thank you so much for pointing me to these guys! I'm hooked!

And I think I know what my dad is getting for his birthday...

I got a lovely white tea sampler (with a white blueberry, a white peach, a white tropical and a white tangerine), as well as three black tea samples (a decaf mango, a pomegranite and another fruit tea that I can't remember right now).

I've tried the decaf mango, the white peach and the pomegranite so far, and I'm enjoying them all. I'm definitely a fan of loose tea (which this all is) and I'll be ordering again.

Highly, highly recommend them.

Now back to writing.

Since I was tagged by joncwriter, here goes:

1. I'm a rabid Red Sox fan. If they're on, even if it's a repeat game (or a game I know we lost), I'll watch it. I adore the Red Sox. Which, considering my immediate family considers sports "something others watch," is pretty funny.

2. I love most music, except for acid rock, gangsta rap (okay, most rap) and things like that. I like techno, oddly enough, which most people wouldn't believe, and I adore Irish music.

3. I don't like dogs all that much. I'm a cat person, and frankly, most dogs either irritate me (the small yap dogs) or scare me (the larger dogs). I've been bitten a few times, and I just don't like them. Give me a cat every time.

4. Anne McCaffrey and I share a birthday, which I think is unbelievably cool.

5. If/when I strike it big, I won't be quitting my day job. Not completely, anyways. I'm going to work the minimum I have to in order to keep my medical benefits. But my hubby will quit his, most likely. ;)

6. I wanted and still want to have a career in radio. I think that's why I'm so keen to do podcasting in my oodles of spare time.

7. I constantly talk to myself. I have this running commentary, like my own personal radio show in my head, that I've had ever since I can remember. My mother said she'd read something that said that firstborns think they're the center of the universe - I guess that's why.
