Well, I spent most of the day in bed. I finally succumbed to the nastiness that downed
argus7hills earlier this week. We were supposed to go to Vermont today, but that didn't happen. Which was good, in a way - my parents had to bring my sister's car to New York this weekend, and they lost power today. *sigh* So I had to go to Nottingham and do one of two things: either reassure my father that yes, his power was back on so the pipes wouldn't freeze, or stay there and light a fire in the fireplace, so the pipes wouldn't freeze. Did I mention it was 15 degrees F (about -10 degrees C) here at that point?
Luckily, the power was back on. I've been calling their phone (which won't pick up when the power is out) about every hour, and I've promised them that if it doesn't pick up, I'll go out to the house and light the fire. It made him feel better :)
So I'm home, and upright, and editing. Although I might write a bit too - I had a couple of revelations about Seasons driving home last night (namely, who Shanna and Justin's parents were, who Madness' partner in crime is and why she needs Alex so desperately), so that might happen.
And lots of tea. Lots and lots of tea.
