(personal) Domestic goddess day

That's what today is. I'm cleaning house, literally and figuratively. Yes, it's too early to start spring cleaning, but I have a day off, so I'm going to make my downstairs shine.

I've already started - I wanted to get a good start before I hopped onto that timesink known as the internet. 3 buckets of laundry that argus7hills did on Friday are now folded and put away. There's a load in the dryer and one in the washer. I've emptied the dishrack once and refilled it, and as soon as I finish this entry, I'm going to go empty it again and refill it.

To dos today:

1. Clean entry-way
a. pick up all the shoes/mail/bags and put away
b. mop floor
c. vacuum stairs

2. Clean living room
a. pick up, fold and put away laundry
b. clean off tables
c. vacuum floor

3. Clean dining room
a. clean off table
b. put away christmas tree and tools
c. vacuum floor

4. Clean kitchen
a. do dishes and put away
b. clean off counters
c. put away remaining dry groceries
d. clean off camping kitchen
e. sweep floor
f. mop floor

Well, I've got a lot to do today, so I'm off!

Update: I didn't get it all done, but I did get a lot done. Hubby was very pleased when he came home, and so am I!
