starting line:
“Chief Keese?” A different voice floated through the still air, drawing Derek’s attention to the young woman who had come through the door while he was studying at the décor.

ending line:
The Right Reverend Henry Keats had been one of the most vocal anti-Mage protesters in the last twenty years, picketing various laboratories and colleges, calling for the outright banning of magic and those who practiced “the black arts,” as he called them.

nothing that isn't a spoiler.

I will have this book finished by the time I get back from RavenCon. *determined* I have taken far too long to complete it, and I'm done futzing. Dammit!

Bed now. Up early to write more before cleaning.
Write.

That is my only goal. We are doing pasta for dinner, and lunch is whatever hubby can find (maybe pizza) in the freezer.

My goal for this weekend is 10k, minimum. I have the whole day to write, since Donna and Becky aren't coming over.

Back later.
