Okay, mental note - when we buy a new mattress, if Argus really wants a firm one, I NEED A PAD UNDER MY SIDE. My parents have a lovely memory foam mattress, but I've woken up sore and aching every morning. And I'm positive that it's due to the firmness of the mattress. The joys of living with fibromyalgia.
Of course, Mom and Dad have a 7-foot whirlpool bathtub in their bathroom, which I am going to fill after my class and enjoy. Then I get to shovel more snow off their back porch, to make up for not swimming today. I just don't want to drive anywhere, and 45 minutes each way to Concord to swim is just too much. And there's enough snow on the back porch (and more due tomorrow) that I don't feel like I'm skipping an actual workout.
So today's to-do list is a small one, but important to me.
1. Attend class at 2 pm. Utter fail! They don't have the new seminar up! Have fired off professionally irritated email to advisor and received an answer back that has partially mollified me. For the moment. Updates when I have more info.
2. Shovel back porch off. Um, no. Is a block of ice. Not killing myself over it.
3. Shovel front walk again. Done! I'm so accomplished. :D
4. Keep woodstove burning.
5. Work on dress (2 hours or so) pictures later, I promise. Going to bring Florence (my dress dummy) to the studio tomorrow so I can get some good pictures.
6. Write 500 words on Rites 610! And they found an army. Eek!
7. Contract to Jeff
8. Balance checkbook We have money! Yay! This is always a pleasant feeling. :D
9. Pay bills Broke again. :P
10. Plan lunch bento for tomorrow pancakes! And sausage. Love breakfast bentos.
Stuff I'd like to get done, but aren't necessary:
1. Post to
writersweighin re: food and stuff
2. Post to
val_marathon
3. Make a fruit crisp
4. Toast marshmallows in the wood stove
I also need to figure out something for dinner - I'm contemplating pancakes, honestly.
I know, it looks long, but it's really not as long as it seems. And most of it can be done from my chair.
