Well, my goal was 1k. My total for today was 1470, a solid start and the first scene checked off my outline.

I'm reading an interesting book too: "Write from Scratch" by Rita Mae Brown (she of the Sneaky Pie mysteries - a favorite of mine). Very intriguing book. I highly recommend it.
And, as a treat, here's the opening line (for the moment) from Belladonna Dreams:
