Yep, going back to these. I'm editing this, so the metrics are a bit different.

Added about 450 words today to the prologue. I like the basic structure of the book - I just need to add stuff. Backstory, mostly. I'm finding this difficult, as I'm mortally afraid of infodumps. But I think I've figured out a way to get some more details in, so if you didn't read the first book (why not????), you can still read the second one.

Sequels are hard. You know? Especially when you have characters that refuse to die and go away the way you wanted them to.

I actually enjoy writing sequels. You get to do just that much more.

Oh, it was fun, but I had all these little details from the first book that I had to figure out how to weave in. And so many characters! I'd never written a sequel before, and this was DEFINITELY a learning experience.
