Puck, my 2yn, was supposed to be a standalone. However, my main conflict has ballooned into a Jordanesque monstrousity that I am now attempting to plot down. Yes, I know, I haven't actually started writing it yet, but every question I answer seems to spawn eight more, all of which are fascinating and could probably support stories of their own.
The big problem is that my backdrop conflict just might be too big for only one book. I'm praying it's not, and I'm going to continue on as if it isn't, but I have this sinking feeling in my stomach that I'm working on a series here.
*sigh* Sometimes, my muse hits the catnip and dude, the places we end up!!!
Got two more assignments done for the 2yn - I'm up to #15, and that's not too bad. I think I'm only 3 weeks behind now. I'm going to try and catch up by the end of next week - I want to start outlining/plotting.
And then I'll go back to worldbuilding - because I'm seeing a lot of holes I need to fill....
