Dear Adelphia Cable Executives,

I understand that Comcast Cable has bought your company, and that you probably feel no reason to continue to provide anything close to decent service to customers that won't even be yours in a few months. I can even understand that you may be feeling a wee bit resentful of the fact that in a few months, you might not have jobs, depending on how Comcast restructures.

My heart bleeds for you.

HOWEVER.

Screwing over your customers is NOT the way to go out gracefully. And it is a sad, sad thing that I have to call your techline and chew your supervisors a new one because you can't be bothered to let your customers know that there is a major outage, so that is why my HIGH-SPEED INTERNET IS CRAWLING ALONG AT THE SPEED OF A SNAIL CAUGHT IN MOLASSES IN FEBRUARY!!!!!!!

I also find it highly suspicious that about 10 minutes after I hang up the phone, after having registered my complaint, that my connection miraculously starts to work again, allowing me to finally access my email for the first time in OVER AN HOUR!!!

Major outage, my ass. Get your heads out of your behinds and do your damn jobs.
