Darling: Rick and Justin exchanged a grin. “Trust us,” Justin said finally. “My sister has a very…distinctive feel to her magic.”

“Very distinctive,” Rick concurred. “Usually explosions are involved.”

“Not always,” Justin said, and Rick snorted. “Well, not always large ones."

Deaths: none. :( I'm slacking.

Good Things: Nikki felt one of the others.

Bad Things: she couldn't track who it was, because she had other things to do.

Crown Tourney is done! Congrats to Prince Griffith FitzWilliam and Princess Ekaterine!!

Now I can write! Going to make some of my goals today and tomorrow!

Ending line: Her entire body lit up with pain; Shadows and tears filled her eyes, and only the thought that she had to move, had to get them back into her shield-realm, kept her conscious.

Darling: Then her vision blurred: for a moment, Rick and Alex stood side by side, and Nikki considered the two, as if debating between two dresses in her closet. Alex: tall, dark, handsome and deadly; Rick: tall, blonde, handsome and…safe? She wondered about that, remembering how well he’d cradled the M-16 he’d taken from Alex’s guard. And how she’d wanted him to cradle her the same way.


Deaths: None. But they ran into a ghost!

Good Things: Nikki got to drool over Rick. AND Alex. :p

Bad Things: Stuck a wooden beam in her side.
