Migraine 1, Val 0

Day two of the migraine from hell.

I've never had one this bad. I ended up calling into work (I'll have no sick days left soon, if this keeps up) and going for the big drugs. I have 5mg vicodan that my doctor prescribed. Usually, two of those and I go to sleep for six to eight hours, and I'm fine.

Not this one.

I ended up calling my doctor and begging for more drugs. She prescribed 10mg vicodan, that argus7hills was good enough to go out and get for me. Two of those, and one of his 600mg ibuprofen (since I wasn't going anywhere, it didn't matter if the walls started moving), and the pain was gone, for the most part.

However, the nausea was not. For the last four to six hours, I've been hovering right on the edge of vomiting, but everytime I try to force it (hoping that by emptying my stomach the nausea would go away), I just hack up bile.

I'm going to my doctor in the next couple of weeks (definitely before my next period!) and she's going to give me something. I can't deny it anymore. I have migraines, and I can't just go on the way I have. I don't want to blow all my sick days on stupid migraines.

Now, it's FINALLY subsiding (thanks to enchantedonyx, who suggested benadryl to help with the nausea), so I'm going to write.

God-dammit! How the hell much longer is my goddamn head going to hurt? I cannot live on narcotics for the next week!!!!! *grumbles and goes to get more vicodan*
