Thanks to everyone who entered. My computers have now been named, and I have two books for my winner and my runner-up!

The winner is [livejournal.com profile] marfisk, for her suggestion of "Hercules" for the desktop and "Cassandra" for the laptop. With my love for Greek mythology, I couldn't resist.

The runner-up was [livejournal.com profile] liamstliam, for "Henry" and "Katherine," which I also really liked. However, I was afraid naming my desktop after Henry might encourage it to chop off my files' heads, or marry another computer.:D

[livejournal.com profile] marfisk and [livejournal.com profile] liamstliam, you've both won an autographed copy of Not Your Father's Horseman - congrats! Mar, if you want, email me your address. Liam, I can send your's to Coronation if you'd like.

Again, thanks to everyone who entered - there will be more contests soon, I'm sure!

Starting line: The muttered incantations in my head stopped as the world righted itself.

Ending line: She gave him a disgusted look and flounced out.

Darling: Rose, mercifully, stayed quiet as recriminations and memories chased each other like puppies on a rampage through the halls of my mind. I should have never come up here; then Maggie wouldn’t have been in danger. I should have never given up ghostwalking in the first place; then Alis could have some help that wasn’t years out of practice. I should have never let her come up here in the first place…around and around they raced, a frantic hamster’s wheel of guilt, against a backdrop of Maggie’s anguished face and the panic in her voice as she screamed for help, again and again…

No wonder my fingers hurt. I haven't done 4k in a day in a while! Hopefully I can keep this up...
