We have words. Not a lot, and I'm having to go back, because the original file AND my back up file for Dark Moons Seasons both got corrupted.
It was not pretty. I was irritated.
However, I have everything EXCEPT Chapter 5 in other files, so I'm rewriting Chapter 5 (better than it was, if I do say so myself). The metrics today are from that rewrite.
New words: 908
Starting line: “Why did I agree to a three-book deal?” Rick demanded of the empty room a few days later, throwing his hands up in frustration. “Why did I let her talk me into it?”
Ending line: “Very funny,” Rick retorted, and Justin chuckled again.
No real darlings, although part of the scene (okay, a lot of the scene) is pretty funny.
