jackoutofthebox and woadchic's annual Halloween party - argus7hills looked awesome, and I didn't look that bad (thanks to empath_1111's jacket!), but I don't have any pictures because I forgot the camera. *sigh* Sorry, guys.
We did play an interesting party game - bending spoons with our minds. Yup. It was neat - I actually bent the tines on my fork and started twisting the handle.woadchic is promising to post pictures on her LJ of the silverware we bent. It was fun.
Before the party, though, we went out to lunch with several friends to celebrate Baron Bil andaishabintjamil's birthdays. Morimoto's - yum! Sushi and the grill - it was amazing.
Today was exhausting. Went to fencing practice withamcnh and my friends were kind enough to point out the holes in my defense. I have bruises now on my left hand fingers (got smacked while holding my cane), both arms and one lovely one on my left breast. Fun is!
Then home - took a long bath, read a Buffy novel, made shephard's pie, baked a loaf of bread and folded 3 loads of laundry. The last load of laundry is in the dryer, and I'm trying to come up with enough enthusiasm to make chicken salad and pack the bentos for tomorrow. I also need to write, and go through the novel I'm editing so we (the author and I) can restructure it. I need to be in by noon tomorrow (bah), so we'll see how much I can get done. I need Sacrifice done and into the editor by Wednesday. However, Game 4 is on, and there is no way I'm going to bed until I know how it all ends.
