(personal) Just a quick update

Heading out to the doctor's this afternoon, and stopping at EMS first to get some Yaktrax trackers, so we don't have a repeat of the fall that dislocated the knee in the first place.

This is also the dry run on the crutches. I haven't been on crutches in years. Needless to say, I'm using the valet parking at the doctor's office today, and have been told I should look into a temp handicap sticker, since I have a bit of a walk into work as well.

Keep your fingers crossed, guys. I'd really hate to still be on crutches for StellarCon.

(personal) A balloon.

That's what my knee currently looks like, leading me to believe that I will NOT be going to work tomorrow. *sigh* I'm going to take it easy tomorrow - my doctor thinks I might have done some damage to the bottom of my knee, and I'm off to an MRI in a few days.

I spent nearly 4 hours on the crutches today, which is part of the reason I think it's so swollen now. Luckily, tomorrow will be only my first day off without pay, so it's not too bad.

But dammit, I wanted to go back to work. *sigh*
