Work was...weird. I dunno. I didn't get as many of the phone calls as I thought I would, considering tomorrow is payday for our biggest client. Most of them were, however, of the following vein:

Customer: "But why hasn't my paycheck been deposited into my account yet?"
Me: "Because tomorrow is payday, not today."
Customer: "But I can see my stub online today!"
Me: "It doesn't matter. Tomorrow is payday."
Customer: "That sucks."
Me: "Yep."
Customer: "So why hasn't my paycheck shown up in my account yet?"

Yeah, I deal with brain surgeons on a general basis.

And now, I'm going to write tonight, as I put together a goodie basket for a friend that I need to mail out tomorrow. I know I owe some of you some stuff from the contest - those will be going out in a few days.

I started character sketches for Shanghai today at lunch. Pulled out my character generation book and the dice and got started. Tonight is Dreams.
