So I had a Remicade treatment yesterday, and one of the things they do for that is give me liquid Benadryl. A side effect of said liquid Benadryl is that the next day, I'm exhausted. So I slept until 3 pm (yes, 3 PM) today, and now I can't sleep. At all.

So I'm up folding laundry at 2:30 am and hoping that my brain will shut off at some point, so I can get to sleep. If not, I'll take a nap at some point on Sunday and try and get myself back on track.

Thank goodness they're only once every 8 weeks. I don't think I could handle it any more often than that.
Yes, the house looks like a post-nuclear explosion. I can't deal with it anymore. So no writing, no WoW, no email, no NOTHING, until I've made a dent in the cleaning.

So here's the list:

- Living Room:
1. Put away laundry
2. clean off blue couch
3. Clean off table
4. Vaccuum floor

- Kitchen:
1. DISHES!!!!
2. Clean off counters
3. Sweep floor
4. WASH floor

Random:
1. More laundry
2. Cook
3. Head to Walmart and get outdoor lights and a wreath and a new mouse for the big computer.

Cooking:
1. dinner tonight: fish sticks, baked potatoes, broccoli and cheese
2. dinner tomorrow night: baked chicken breasts, stuffing with cranberries and brussel sprouts with garlic.
3. chicken salad
4. egg salad

I might make brownies or biscuits too, but I haven't decided yet. This is a good list.

I will be writing later tonight as well. And now I'm off!

Dark Moon Seasons is winging its way back to my editor as we speak, and I have Belladonna Dreams open. Time to get back on track with my NaNo.

And my living room looks AWESOME. I count that as a victory.

Just don't look in the kitchen or dining room.
Here are the titles I'm working on for the Pendragon Series:

1. Belladonna Dreams
2. Arsenic Malice
3. A Touch of Foxglove
4. Wolfsbane Wrath
5. Mistletoe Memories

I love #5 - apparently the Druids fed their sacrifices mistletoe, so they would have mystic visions. Since that's when Sapph will have to return to the Elephant House, it's majorly appropriate.

Now I just have to write the books and sell them. :p

starting line:
Shit. A decision. Time to grovel. “I’m sorry, Danielle. I got distracted by something.” I turned my back on both James and Alis and leaned against the kitchen wall. “Start again.”

ending line:
Alis had sighed and reminded me that not everyone was born wealthy, which had stung a bit, but she’d made her point.

darling:
It was deathly quiet, other than my breathing; the room ran the entire length and breadth of the house. The broken remnants of life littered the floor: a child’s rocking horse, the shredded contents of a hope chest, shards of what might have been either dishes or vases crunching under my boots as I walked across the mess. A dresser with tattered pieces of clothing hanging from its open drawers sagged against the back wall as if it were too tired to stand on its own anymore. A spinning wheel ghosted in the corner, the cobwebs of ages draped over its spindle like fine aged white thread. It was cold, but only the cold of the Ghostlands. I turned slowly, catching David’s eye. He shook his head. No Ellen.
