starting line:
“If you’d let him come with us, he wouldn’t have had that chance, because we’d have gotten him under these protections before Madness sunk her claws back into him,” Nikki retorted. “He wanted to come back to us!”

ending line:
“Because there needs to be,” Teraisa said simply.

darling:
Cleo marched over and stood nose to nose with Nikki. “He murdered our mother.” Each word came out slowly, distinctly, as if cut from glass. “My mother. For no good reason.”

So yeah, I’ve gotten words today. No Morning pages, either today or yesterday, which does NOT make me happy, but I will have them tomorrow. I WILL write every day. I WILL.

Tomorrow, pre-writing for NaNo starts. My novel is tentatively titled The Redemption Machine, and it’s fantasy steampunk. Completely different from what I’ve written before.

Also, I’ll be doing a post on preparing for NaNo this weekend, most likely. I’m giving a speech on it Thursday for my Oral Communications class, complete with Power Point, and was asked on Twitter if I would make it a blog post. So be on the lookout for that.

I’m coming back, slowly. Very damn slowly, but I am coming back.
