It had been a house, once. Now, they looked down upon a magical enclave that should have had the entire area glowing with Power. An enclave that should be on every Lord and Mage’s radar for the nearest two hundred miles. Something that the Department should have been aware of.
If he hadn’t been staring at it, he wouldn’t have known it was there. The sheer artistry of the spell work that had to exist to achieve that effect chilled his blood and thrilled his mind.
