I think I'll keep my snowing icon as the default for a while. It's not too christmasy to leave up.

Today is a moving and getting things done day. Yesterday was kind of lazy, not that I didn't do much, but that I didn't feel the need to get everything done. Today the to-do list is a must do, otherwise I go to work naked and hungry tomorrow. :P

With that lovely image in mind (and I have a 11.5 hr day tomorrow!), here's the to-do list:

1. Make brunch (toast, scrambled eggs, blueberry sausage, tea)
2. Make food plan for next week
3. Make grocery list

4. Fold laundry in living room
5. Put away laundry in living room

6. Finish homework
7. Put away Christmas tree
8. Make dinner
9. Make lunch and dinner for tomorrow

10. Write 500 words on Last Rites
11. Write 500 words on Tales outline

12. Respond to Email
13. Go grocery shopping
14. Do dishes

Those are the must-be-dones. If I have time, I'd also like to:
1. Make Chex Mix
2. Set up my writing spreadsheet for the year
3. Do my year-end post to see how I did on last year's resolutions
4. Find out how many words I actually wrote last year (this involves going back through my posts and adding everything - eek!)
5. Clean off the dining room table

Wow. Long day. I'd best get moving!
I know, shocking, huh? :p

Not only did I get words done on Last Rites, but I also got some of the plot summary done for Tales. In fact, the only must-do on my to-do list that didn't get done was taking down the Christmas tree. I call that a win.

His form shimmered as they came up to the Gate, a faint blue glow surrounding him. Justin frowned, but the glow lifted up from Kith and swarmed the large padlock, forming an insubstantial key. A soft snick echoed through the silence, and then the gate swung open.

Darling:
Kith led them down a long, winding path through a dark evergreen forest, far different from the dead trees that seem to coat so much of the Shadow Lands. Moss thudded under Cerberus’ hooves, and the dry, dusty scent of pine filled Justin’s nostrils. Somewhere in the distance, a crow cawed, and Justin’s skin crawled again, this time with foreboding. Who knew what they would find in Madness’ realm?
