(metrics/nano/writing) Day 3 of NaNoWriMo and I’m still pacing myself!

To be on Target: 5001

It’s not much of a cushion, but the fact that I’ve written 5k in the last three days is amazing to me, so I’ll enjoy it. I need to catch up a bit more with my outline, so I might not get a bunch done tomorrow, but we’ll see. I’m being mean to Molly – just slammed her up against her door. Did I mention this book is a little darker than last year’s?

I found a great outlining post while I was wandering through the NaNo boards before NaNo started, and I wanted to share it. It has really helped me work out some things with this book, and I can’t wait to use it for some of my other ones. Especially the Sapph books. Who am I kidding? All my books. :p

This post and the post after it is what I used to start outlining. I was having a devil of a time getting into this book – I just couldn’t figure out WHY things were happening. Worked through this post – and I started getting ideas. It was awesome.
