I have discovered that writing at work, except on lunch, isn't really an option anymore. I can't get properly into the book. So, work will be beading/sewing/crocheting/knitting.

I used to revise or crit at work, but, without a laptop, writing anywhere but home is impossible. I don't write longhand at all. It hurts too much and I'm too much a perfectionist -- even the handwriting itself has to look "right" or end up rewriting.

Gods, I'm so neurotic. :P

You know, though, I'm right there with you. Especially with the rewriting to make it look right. *sigh* I'm neurotic too.

Luckily, I talked work into letting me have an hour lunch, so I curl up with the laptop in the lunchroom and write.

So did I totally screw up with that crit????

The crit was fine. It would be more helpful to have specific comments on each section, but I can work with just about any crit I get, so no screw up. I rarely comment on crits (old school -- all my old workshop classes wouldn't allow the author to respond to comments except one that allowed the author to ask legitimate questions -- because an author can't defend their work to every reader), so my lack of comment has nothing to do with you, but with my habits. :)

Gotcha. And now that I know I'm supposed to crit each section, I will do that going forward. :)
