Today sucks. I want a do-over.

Went home sick from work last night. Still sick. Called in today.

IR receiver - wrong type. Bite the fucking bullet and ordered directly from QuickPad, after talking to their tech line ("Why no, we don't have a standard IR port - why?" Because your site says you do, fucktard!!!)

So now, I'm sitting at my dining room table, pausing every 20 minutes or so to deal with sickness and trying to work on the damn book.

At least my Red Sox are winning.

Nope, but I'm not ready to give up yet. :p I was just a bit cranky earlier.

But I'm sending the other receiver back (and getting a refund) and the IR receiver FROM quickpad should be here by the end of next week. I'm just having a bad day...

It should. The tech reassured me it would work with Windows Vista, so we'll see.

I'm going to just keep plugging away. That's all I can really do. But thanks for the hugs! They are MUCH appreciated!
