Yes, I actually got up early this morning and wrote for an hour. That's going to be my plan this week (except tomorrow, when I'm hoping to get an hour's worth of writing done on the road when I stop for lunch.) Today was a good hour - got into the first chapter of Seasons. Yep, even worked on the NOVEL.

Draft Two of Dark Moon Seasons
Starting Line: “Holy shit.”
Ending Line: “God help us,” Derek whispered, and she paled. “What the hell was he doing here?”
Darling: Pain! Blood! Terror! A barrage of images slammed into his mind, one after the other, in rapid succession like a machine gun of emotion. Woven into the stream were two images, each terrifying in their own way: a simple rag doll, lying in the midst of a destructive rainbow that burned away shadows, and a young woman with dark hair and dark blue eyes, who turned towards him, the flesh melting off her face, leaving a skull that burned with dark energy. A ghostly hand came out of the darkness, skin hanging in shreds from its delicate bones, reaching for him as he fell. The image shattered as he stumbled back, breaking his contact with the woman’s skin.
Deaths: Oh yes. This book starts off with a bang. Literally. Lots of corpses.
Fun Stuff: Two new characters! Welcome to the madness!
Bad Stuff: They found lots of bodies. And they're worried about who or what might have caused it. Lots of death and destruction.

Now to do stuff. Like email. And breakfast. This was a good start, though. At lunch, I'm going to work on Sacrifice, so more metrics will show up later.
