I now have a character that has gone to level 2 on WoW.

Yep, it's happened. I'm going to WalMart first thing tomorrow morning to buy my own copy of the game so I can upgrade. The infection spreads...

Sorry, [livejournal.com profile] shadawyn and [livejournal.com profile] irishninja, I went Alliance. I have a human Warlock named (of course) CassieHobbes, and I'm on Mal'Ganis. Come and find me if you want!

Now, the Sox and Yankees are playing their final game of the year, and so of course, I'm watching. Even though I have to be up at oh-god-thirty tomorrow morning because I'm working a day shift to help a friend out. So I'm writing now, and watching the game, and then I'll be heading to bed.

No writing this weekend - I went to Crossroads at Canterbury yesterday, and then slept over at Dereca and Shawn's last night (there was NO way I was driving home - I was exhausted). Today, [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills and I went out to lunch (chinese!) and then came home and did stuff. Sean (another Sean - I know so many of them!) helped me fix the router (my DNS address was corrupted) and then, we played WoW.

More later.

Da-da-da-da-dum

*watches as the writing time and the life get eaten up*

Nah, probably not. I'll only play when Hubby is on, and when my writing is done.

I'm getting into the habit of writing first thing in the morning, and even if I go to days, he leaves before I do. So I can write in the mornings, then play with him for a bit after dinner.

I don't get addicted to games. Luckily.

[livejournal.com profile] irishninja and I have not played in 6 months, and I think both of us have even uninstalled from our computers, so you are free to play whatever and wherever you want, no trash from us ;)

hehe. I was just contemplating CoH too, but I don't think my poor Heracles could handle both.

I feel bad about City of Heroes because during the brief time I got back into it I seem to have convinced [livejournal.com profile] kaitiana to start back up, but I bailed after a week.

[livejournal.com profile] irishninja still plays, with varying frequency: Guildwars (all of them), EVE Online, City of Heroes and... I think that's it right now.

MMOs in concept should appeal to me in a dangerous way, but over the last year or so, they haven't. I think if I found the right group, I'd get addicted, but (luckily?) I haven't. Right now, I play in three regular table top RPGs and infrequently run one of my own, and that's probably more than I can handle. I know when one ends, I'll probably won't be seeking a replacement.

I hear you. I'm mostly playing to have fun with hubby - we haven't found a good RPG to play in, so we're filling it in with this. I'll see how it goes - I'm not too worried about getting addicted, since I won't play without him. :p
