(personal) More snow

I'm really starting to detest the snow. We're looking at another nor'easter - this one's promising another 6-10 inches over the next 24 hours. I'm honestly considering getting a room at one of the nearby hotels - not worried so much about tonight as I am about tomorrow morning. I can get a room at the nearby Comfort Inn (I think that's what it is - Hotwire won't tell me until I book, but that's the only brand in the area they're showing me) for a total of $51.93 for tonight, and it's literally around the corner from work. Of course, there's always the chance that work will pay for a hotel room for me, but I don't know if they will.

I'm going to play it by ear, but I brought Cassandra and a change of clothes, just in case. More later.

Edit: Yep, Val has caved. I have a room reserved at the ExtendedStay America off Exit 8. Not driving home in the mess it is outside.

And I don't have to leave at 5:30 am to get a decent parking spot tomorrow. As long as I leave by 7:15, I should be here by 7:45.

Edit the Second: No free wireless, it looks like *sadness* We'll see if I pick anything up, but if not, I'll see y'all tomorrow morning.

(I'm glad I live in the Northwest, were we get an inch of snow and everyone goes nuts, but it usually melts off before it can cause real problems. We don't get anything like you guys do!)

Really more snow?? I am the freak who loves it! The last report I say for the southwest corner of NH was only 1-3 inches.. off I go to check again and see if we were upgraded.
