I put down maybe because I have no sound on my pc so I would have to find another way to listen to it.

Fair enough. You can listen to them on an MP3 player as well.

I don't do podcasts ... if I'm online at home, I'm usually writing (and/or chatting). So I'm a no by default, but I put maybe because podcasts are just one of those things I haven't gotten around to yet.

I understand. :) I got into podcasts because friends of mine do it, but I think I might just have to start doing my own as well.

Maybe to a Horseman podcast.

I'm not too much a fan of listening to books read aloud in any medium; my own imagination provides all the sound effects, too.

However, I'm not averse to listening to the author's vision of their own story. It'd be very interesting.

Yeah, if you can get past my voice. :p

Seriously, thanks. I'll see what I can do.

Voted no for both, not because I think they're bad ideas but just because I don't do podcasts and I already have so many other things that I "do" tech-wise that I'm just not up to it anymore.

Plus I already have a paper copy of Horseman. :D

This is a really good promotion idea...I think Jay Lake uses this sometimes as well. I should keep it in mind myself when the time comes! :)

there are some really good ones out there - if you aren't listening to the Survival Guide to Writing Fantasy, you're missing a LOT!

I love audiobooks so said yes on the first one. I like the idea of podcasts but never listen to them, even if I do download them.

Podiobooks.com (http://www.podiobooks.com) is a great place to listen to FREE books! I highly recommend "Morevi" - especially the remastered version.
