Wow, it's Monday already? Bah.

StellarCon was a blast. Seriously. There were a ton of highlights:

1. Guitar Hero III, Rock Band and Wii Sports with [livejournal.com profile] daveybeauchamp and Donna. Wow. I need a Wii badly now.

2. Selling a character in Dark Moon Seasons for $55 at the auction Saturday night. DMP sold 3 Tuckerizations for a stunning total of $210!!! Go us!

3. Being informed that I am now [livejournal.com profile] daveybeauchamp's brain. How surreal.

So here's the deal.

We came in Thursday night and checked in. The woman who checked us in was a royal b*tch, but the hotel was okay. The free internet was down most of weekend, which was irritating. And the room was a DESERT - I'm sick now because it was so darn dry.

Friday was my first panel - at 11 pm. We ran into [livejournal.com profile] daveybeauchamp, as well as Tony Ruggerio and Mary, and Mike Pederson and random others. There was a promise of drunken Wii, but I was still on crutches and since my last panel (with Mike) was at 11 pm, I never made it there.

That panel. Wow. Mike and I could have not shown up and they'd've been fine. :p But it was interesting. I really should try and see some more of the new Doctor Who at some point.

Saturday I had a signing that went well (I sold a book!), a reading that never happened (ah, scheduling snafus!) and a panel I missed due to excessive Wii-ing ([livejournal.com profile] daveybeauchamp being a BAD influence!). We also conceived the Livers for Boobies contest (see prior entry) and introduced Donna to con parties. It was fun! Oh, and the Tuckerization auction happened as well.

Sunday, amazingly, I was not hung over, but I did sleep late. Donna and I went to lunch, then I went down to a very creepy little doll museum we'd spotted the day before and took some pictures for an upcoming Sapph novel. Then I went to my last panel, which was on collecting SF, and then we went and collected all our stuff. The Wii hung out in our room for a bit, then we packed and headed out at oh-god-thirty (otherwise known as 6:30 am) this morning to catch a plane.

Whew! What a weekend! Pictures later (when I get home and get them uploaded to the computer).

You're welcome! And I have the perfect scene to kill you in too - I'll let you know where in the book it is when I write it. :)

Yeah, but it would be more convenient to have it at MY house too! :P

Re: #2

You must return to a nearby Con after it comes out. I want a signed copy!

I'm sorry I didn't get to talk to you more, but, as Tim Zahn pointed out to me, you never get to attend a con you run.

Working on getting them uploaded.

And you are SO the bad influence!

LOL!

Well, I'll be back (I hope!) at Stellar next year - and I'm looking at moving to the NC area in the next 18 months. But I'll make sure you get a signed copy.
