You know, sometimes Mondays just suck. Rocks.

I am home today. Why? Because I have a phone job at work.

And I woke up with no voice this morning.

I feel fine. I just can't talk above a whisper. Which means I can't do my job.

This is so why I need to get something other than a phone job. sigh

So, I'm home today. Because I feel FINE, I'm going to clean my house. At least three rooms. And do laundry. And go buy a new wireless router. And maybe grocery shop a bit, once I figure out what dinner is for the next week.

Because sitting here at the computer, I'm fuming. I'm so aggravated. I don't want more time off! (well, I do, but not like this!) I want to be working. I want to enjoy my job. I want to be able to talk above a whisper.

Grr.

*takes hot tea with honey and throat drops and stomps off*

If you go to the grocery store, grab some Popsicles. It will help your throat, I lived on those things when I worked in a call center.

Ooh, didn't think of that! I'll get some tomorrow if I'm still not 100%. Thanks!

a little whiskey and honey, after five o'clock. ;-)

And don't try to talk, not matter how frustrating. Reminds me of this episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer....

Feel better!

And I lose my voice often when I get sick, and I remember being in the same situation. "I probably have the brain capacity to work, but I CANNOT TALK and therefore cannot do my job."

Yeah, it's really frustrating. Like I said, I feel perfectly fine. But I can't TALK, and my job is all talking. *sigh*
