Just not the kind I thought I would have.
I don't have a word count tonight - because I spent the night figuring out what kind of freaking story I was writing. Turns out I was falling into the "cast of thousands" trap - and it was writing me into a corner.
So I stopped, and with the help of
mooseythehut,
barlidoc and
jacob_day, I managed to figure out not only where this book is going, but where the 3rd book is going as well. I know how the story ends. Yay!
Unfortunately, I'm going to lose some of what I wrote. I'm not sure how much yet. I have to finish the plot summary and do at least a bare bones outline (although I might just try to go from the summary). I'm losing at least one major character. And with this delay, I'm probably not going to make the end of NaNo. Oh well - I have more at stake with this novel than just making it to 50k by November 30th. Although it would be nice, and I'm still going to push for it.
We'll see. I'm exhausted now, but glad to be over this hurdle. I was wondering why it was like pulling teeth on this book. Now I know why.
More tomorrow, after I shop and make deviled eggs and get some dry erase markers to use on my new white board.

Last weekend I was at the Farscape convention with Tee and talking about Dragon Moon Press and FAR. He ask me if I read your book yet - Not Your Father's Horseman - and I had to say "no." Not because I don't want to but because another reviewer beat me to it at FAR. I love reviewing books except that it leaves little to no time for my own tbr list which your book is on.

And bummer that you didn't get to review it! :( I was looking forward to seeing what you thought of it!
