Well, I'm starting off well. Despite sleeping an hour or so later than I wanted to (the sky is this weird grey color here today - am wondering if we'll get snow later, and it lulled me into a sense of false time), I did 12 minutes of bellydancing (and remembered how long it's been - ouch! I'm sore now!)
12 minutes might not seem like a lot, but trust me - you're moving muscles that you don't normally move. I did 5 minutes of hip sways (or "smiles," as we call them, because that's the range of motion - your hips "smile"), 3 minutes of clockwise hip circles, 3 minutes of counterclockwise hip circles and 1 minute of pyramids. My goal this week is to work up to 15 minutes total:
5 mins of smiles
3 mins of clockwise circles
3 mins of counterclockwise circles
4 mins of pyramids
Next week, I add hip figure-eights. ;)
My writing goal today is 15k. If I can do 15k today, 15k tomorrow and 10k on Wednesday, I'll hit 50k. :D We'll see.
