Okay, got 1050 words today - not bad for 90 minutes of writing. I'm back into my groove - and once again, I've realized that I'm going to be one of those authors who can worldbuild and characterbuild anytime, but can only have ONE book in actual WRITING at any one time. I'm going to see how editing one and writing another work in January, when I'll be editing Dreams and writing Seasons.
Talked to Andi in FM - apparently the standard length for romance is 100k, not 80k. I'm still leaving this at 80k for a goal, though - I know I tend to write "up" for my rewrites. Case in point - I've got two scenes I already want to add to Dreams.
Off to make dinner and finish wrapping gifts. Hopefully will be able to write more tonight.
