(cats) Helping out a friend

shade53 has a year-old cat who needs a new home, unfortunately. If it wasn't so far away, and my landlords wouldn't kill me, I'd be on my way now. (And no, I don't think the cats themselves would mind. There's been a pretty tortie outside for the past few days that they've been VERY interested in...and they're all spayed/neutered, so it ain't that. She looks well-fed but shy, so I haven't tried to get near her.)

He sounds like a sweet little boy, and needs a good home. Can anyone in the Ohio Valley area help them out?

Hurm. Its too bad they are out in Ohio, although I'd be tempted if it turns out the only option is a shelter that is non-nokill.

Well, I am in the Ohio Valley, but not the part she means. I'm not within an hour's drive of Pittsburgh. Although I do have a LJ friend who lives nearby, I think; I'll check and see if she knows anyone.
