Yup. But first, a big HUZZAH! to watermelontail for finishing his novel!!! Yay!!!!

(Sorry, little brother, just had to get that out. I'm so proud of you!)

Now, onto the updates.

First, the yearly goal (updated properly, this time - I'm not going for a billion words! Maybe in 10 years...)

I got some more done on Belladonna Dreams - I'm hoping to finish the rough draft this weekend:

59,718 / 80,000 (74.6%)

Yes, I'm going to end up being short, probably. Then again, I write short, so I'm not that worried about it.

I also started to work (finally!) on the character sketches for Broken Wings. Started with the top - Empress Ceyla. Who's becoming quite the character. This is going to be wicked fun!!! No word meter for this, because I'm only doing sketches, but I got 251 words done on that.

Now back to writing. And then, maybe tomorrow or Monday, I'm going to start playing with updating my site. Not the fun one. The real one. *shudder*

I need to get the address for FM, now that I have the inarwebs at home. I am taking today and tomorrow off from writing (I'm about to play Master of Magic (!) instead) and start up on something new - probably messing around with the original plotline for Blue Vervain, using Plikt's little sister Ro (who got the BFG) and Mr. Day, her teacher. It'll be novella (30-50k) and I'll probably let it go hide for a while afterward, but I'll get to go into the Shokkal Mountains, which I've wanted to do for a long, long time.

I don't think I'm going to be able to put the surface edit off for the full two weeks. I mean, I've been writing the damn thing since May...

I will try, though. I will work on Bunyip. I will work on Bunyip. I promised the UConn kids I would work on Bunyip...

grr.
