I'm not sure HOW, but we did.

No computer - they both turned out to be doorbusters (bah!) so no new computer yet. Oh well. My motherboard is slowly dying (per my computer guru) so no immediate danger. We're still looking.

I DID get some AWESOME deals - my parents are getting a Tom-Tom GPS unit from me, [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills and [livejournal.com profile] caitlindancer, and I finished [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills. (No, I'm not telling. He reads this journal.) I got to hang out with Donna and got some other gifts, then went to Worcester, got [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills' birth certificate, stopped at Concord Hospital and dropped a copy of Not Your Father's Horseman off for a new fan (I swear, my mother is better at selling these than I am. She keeps calling and saying, "I need a new book! I just sold it!") and then I went home and SLEPT.

Oh, and apparently, for Alex (the 4-year-old), I outrank Santa. Donna was telling me that she had to reprimand him a week or so ago, and here was the conversation:

Donna: "Alex, you better watch out! You know who's watching, right?"
Alex: *puzzled look*
Donna: "Alex, who comes to our house with presents?"
Alex: *big smile* "VAL!"

The only thing we can figure is that Santa only comes once a year, and Val is over all the time. Gee, think I spoil them much?

Now time to finalize the damn intro to Snow, send it off and work on Dreams. Since I just got up about an hour ago, I should be good for a while.
Alex, my friend's 2-year-old, not Alex, my villian.

So Alex finishes his diet Sprite one day last week, and decides he's still thirsty. Donna's ex, Alex's dad, has a keggerator in the kitchen, filled with Killian's.

Alex takes the cover off his Sippy cup, walks over to the keggerator, and pours himself a beer. Luckily, Dad walks in at that point, and takes the Sippy cup away.

My only question?

How long has Alex been hitting the keg?

Needless to say, there is a lock going on said keg.
