I'm not sure HOW, but we did.
No computer - they both turned out to be doorbusters (bah!) so no new computer yet. Oh well. My motherboard is slowly dying (per my computer guru) so no immediate danger. We're still looking.
I DID get some AWESOME deals - my parents are getting a Tom-Tom GPS unit from me,
argus7hills and
caitlindancer, and I finished
argus7hills. (No, I'm not telling. He reads this journal.) I got to hang out with Donna and got some other gifts, then went to Worcester, got
argus7hills' birth certificate, stopped at Concord Hospital and dropped a copy of Not Your Father's Horseman off for a new fan (I swear, my mother is better at selling these than I am. She keeps calling and saying, "I need a new book! I just sold it!") and then I went home and SLEPT.
Oh, and apparently, for Alex (the 4-year-old), I outrank Santa. Donna was telling me that she had to reprimand him a week or so ago, and here was the conversation:
Donna: "Alex, you better watch out! You know who's watching, right?"
Alex: *puzzled look*
Donna: "Alex, who comes to our house with presents?"
Alex: *big smile* "VAL!"
The only thing we can figure is that Santa only comes once a year, and Val is over all the time. Gee, think I spoil them much?
Now time to finalize the damn intro to Snow, send it off and work on Dreams. Since I just got up about an hour ago, I should be good for a while.
