Firstly, if I've pissed you off in the past few days or will piss you off in the next week, I apologize. It's me, not you.

Now, on to the ranting... )

I need to get back on the good nutrition, good exercise wagon. I've fallen off hard, and I can feel it. I'm sluggish in the morning, and grumpy in the afternoon. Tonight, I'm going to be in bed by 10:30 pm, and I'm going to go to the gym tomorrow morning before work. Tonight, I'm going to remember that I have a garden to forage in (Yay, landlady with a green HAND, never mind thumb), and do fresh veggies for dinner.

Really, we'll survive. I just have to make it through until September.

Edit: Holy shit, he RESPONDED with comments on an assignment! Be still, my beating heart! Of course, I still don't have the format that he wants us to use for the rough draft that's due this week, but hey, guess I can't ask for everything.
Oh yeah, it vanished in the migraine haze. *sigh*

Quick to-do list for the rest of the week.

Before the con:
- Finish up workshop packages
- Get new bookplates printed up for freebie giveaway
- Print out page for [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills's friend
- Print out directions for us

Writing:
- Submit Clarity of Light entry
- Read through Horseman and Seasons and send back to Gwen
- Start brainstorming plot for Mirrors
- Work on Belladonna Dreams chapters

Home:
- Clean living room
- Clean out refrigerator
- Clean bathroom
- Clean bedroom
- Laundry

Class:
- Read Chapters 1-3

No sweat. :D

More later - I've got some things propigating in my head. Oh yeah, I need to do some DII crits too!

And [livejournal.com profile] domynoe, the cookies arrived. :D I have stolen all the chocolate crinkles, and I completely understand now.
Work: I'm here. 'Nuff said. No truly stupid people yet this morning - I'm sure they're circling though.

Personal: I'm soliciting people to shoot me in the head. So far, I've got two people who will and one who is determined that I should be as miserable as she is. Bah. The pouring rain outside is not helping.

Writing: Snow continues apace. I'm going to print out what I have at lunch and try to write longhand after lunch. As I am on deadline, even if I go home, I will be pounding out more words today. Headache or no.

Raphael is no longer a whiny boy - I am happy with this. Nikki is more confused, which is also good. And Jack is Jack. I heart Jack, I really do.

Class: I went last night. My paralegal teacher is cool. My math teacher looks like a turtle. Both are good with my work schedule. Now hopefully I can get most of the days off I need to.

More later.
Work: No packing last night - I'm contemplating coming in Monday and doing a bunch of stuff while no one is at work to bother me. We were busy, so I got good stats but no packing.

The good news? I'm not on the phones until TUESDAY. YAY!!!

School: The good news is that they've scheduled no OT for the first week of classes. But I still haven't heard from my director if I can get out at 4:30 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays when we don't have OT. I'm hoping so, but we'll see.

I got my books Tuesday, and I turn in my paper today, so this semester is in the books. Unless I totally bomb the paper (which I doubt), I should pull an A this semester too. If only I'd done this well in college the first time... oh well.

Writing: Snow continues apace. I need to get in touch with some folks regarding Elements and I need to get the revisions in for Seasons. I also have two crits I need to do for DII, and I need to clean my writing desk up. I'm also working on the first chapter for the podcast of Horseman - I'll be looking for some beta "listeners" for my efforts. Anyone want to volunteer? I'll warn you now - it's not going to be nearly as spiffy as Tee's stuff, but I'm hoping it won't be too horrible. I just need to make sure I'm audible and stuff. Email me or comment and let me know if you want this inflicted on you at some point in September.
The only thing I didn't do is the quiche and the pie, but I did get the peaches peeled and into 100% apple juice in the fridge, so that's good. I have a huge shephard's pie and peanut noodles for lunch, and the venison burgers were soooo good.

Now it's time to finish the notes for class, and then maybe write. I have the barest inkling of an idea for how to start Snow...
