Metrics for Dark Moon Seasons

Word Goal for the day: 1667 - made 1696

Starting line: The restaurant wanted a beautiful garden picture, a sort of fantastical garden party in Eden thing.

Ending line: Rick barely caught her before she hit the ground.

Darling: She was magnificent, a Queen of Darkness lording over her court. Her long dark hair flowed down over her shoulders, hugging her like a second skin of shadows and magic. Pale skin accentuated the angularity of her beautiful face; her eyes were piecing through the shadowy hollows of her eye sockets, furthering the image of the skull that Cleo had noticed and hadn’t been able to stop painting. Death stared haughtily out over the scene, as if daring her creator to scrap the canvas and start again, as she had the other five before.

Deaths: A redshirt died. And it was cool!

Good Things: Death by Morning Glory scene made it back in!

Bad Things: Cleo lost it. Badly. And someone died because of it.

New day, new goal. Wish me luck - I want to hit 3K before I go to bed, so I can sew tomorrow morning and not feel guilty.

I set my goal at 1700 per day... and push to get more than that so I can slump from time to time. I'm pushing 7K and should be at 5100 -- I can ease by this weekend, maybe.

Keep it going. Where those the lines of your work today or the whole novel? [g]

Just for the work yesterday. I'm finding it cool to post beginning and ending lines.

I'm trying to get at least the minimum - but we're doing mad OT at work, and I've got a major event this weekend. After Saturday, I should be able to push a bit more on my word counts.
