Word Goal for the day: 1000 - made 1643
Starting line: Mists boiled up in the corner of the room, but the Healers who were swarming over the prone body in the bed didn’t see them.
Ending line: Shanna looked at her. “Let me show you,” she said finally, and dropped the first layer of her shields.
Darling: Nikki studied the girl as she sipped her mug. Shanna’s long hair was more golden than she’d originally thought, a fiery gold that fell in careless waves over her shoulders. Her blue eyes were clear, and Power danced behind them. A feeling of timelessness surrounded her, along with a sense of purpose and a determination. Nikki had no doubt that if Shanna had considered her a threat, she would have had no problem getting rid of her.
Deaths: Nope.
Good Things: Nikki and Shanna finally got to have a serious conversation about the Balance.
Bad Things: Lyla told Madness she wasn't going to succeed.
I hate to do it, but we're getting down to the wire. So it's time to hoist the flag.
We got some good progress today. Tomorrow, I might even get to kill someone. Joy! :)
