So, I should probably do an update of Christmas, yes? :)
It was fun. It was good to see all the family again, and we got lots of goodplunder presents. I’ll let ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
argus7hills talk about his own stuff on his journal, but I can do mine here.
It was definitely a pirate Christmas.
I got not one, but TWO copies of POTC: Dead Man’s Chest, one with the additional music CD and one without. I also got a bumper sticker for my car that says “Work is for those who are too lazy to plunder.” :D I love it. Master Harold and Baroness Aine gave me a tee-shirt with a Jolly Roger on the front and the words “The beatings will continue until morale improves” on the back. And I got lacy pirate socks! I am a contented pirate captain.
I also got some lovely earrings from YS#2, and a book of weird vampire tales. YB#1 and SIL gave us a new wedding album – they scrapbooked it together and OMG! I got a copy of The Court Jester with Danny Kaye from Mom and Dad – I ADORE this movie. And I got a mini food processor and a griddle pan. I’m very excited! YS#1 got me the Food Network Cookbook. And my SIL (on the hubby’s side) got me a beautiful fleece coat with wild horses on it.
And, most important, I got a Get Fuzzy Daily Calendar for work. :D Go me – got my daily Bucky fix!
There was more, but that’s what I remember right now. Oh, and we got two hanging candle holders for the pavilion!
There was, however, one downside to the holiday. We hit Worcester on Christmas Day – and blew the Taurus’ engine. *sigh* Loads of fun. So New Year’s Eve plans have been cancelled – I’m going to write all day, and see if I can make my deadline.
