Home sick

I have the head cold from hell. It feels like someone has run me over with a steamroller. So I have called in sick, and will be doing...I don't know what today. Probably sleeping for a good part of it.

I think I might try and get some of the crits that I have outstanding done as well. We'll see. My laptop isn't that great for editing (because it doesn't have a mouse) but the couch and then bed are more comfortable than my chair. Then again, I'll probably just fall asleep.

I need to work on bags, too. And the tabards for Tax Court. *sigh* Even a day off isn't.

I'm home sick today, too. Mostly the mental sort, but a little headachey and under the weather in general. I'm ahead on my project schedule at work, so I don't feel too guilty.

I hear you on the "day off isn't," though. I'm thinking about all the things I could get done today... but what I'll probably do is sleep and play lots of WoW :P

I slept a lot of the afternoon, but woke up coughing and hacking. This cold is moving down from my head to my chest. It should be lovely by tomorrow. *sigh*

But I got a lot of bags stitched. And hubby has been shlepping laundry up and down the stairs, so I don't feel like I've wasted the ENTIRE day.

Not doing anything this weekend other than sewing and starting packing (we want to move by the end of April), so that's doable. Other than that, our weekends are kind of stuffed... :p

Thanks! The cold is moving into my chest now, lucky me. But I'll be going back to work tomorrow if it kills me - I don't need to blow all my sick time in February...
