Word Goal for the day: 750 - made 895
Starting line: It was like looking in a mirror – a mirror that gave me colored contacts and a strange emerald aura about myself.
Ending line: “Now wait just one minute.” Ice slipped down my back. “What meshing?”
Darling: From this perspective, I could see the two layers of energy I had sensed: the wraith, which lay like tar over her skin, and another, a drab purple, that intermingled in the tar like oil in water.

Very odd, writing this scene. It's pivotal to the entire book, I've been building up to it for a very long time...and yet, I find myself wanting to just be done with it, so I can go write the other stuff. :)
The rest of the book is going to move very fast - I'm finding that I can easily hit my 750 in about 45 minutes. Which is good, because I don't have long to write currently. *sigh* Sorry to everyone who's following SB - it's on the back burner at the moment, so I can concentrate on other stuff. But at least now I have characters for that, and I'll be doing some more with it soon.
Now to bed, so I can get up tomorrow and do it all over again.
